The Great War story of Kennington’s own battalion, the 24th London (The Queen’s), on the 90th anniversary of the unveiling in Kennington Park of its war memorial commemorating over 800 men.

We are helping spread the word about an upcoming WW1 related concert “A Time and Place: Musical Meditations on the First World War” on Thu 18 Sept being held at The Barbican Centre, London.

A Time and Place: Musical Meditations on the First World War is a folk music and multimedia storytelling evening that explores lost songs, tales and poetry from the generation that lived the First World War.
